Free Printable Back to School Sign to Color (A Keepsake for the First Day of School!)

As a parent, it seems like it's always hard to believe your little one has advanced to the next grade level and it's already "back to school" season again. They may not recognize how much they have changed in a year but we sure do! 

Today I'm sharing this FREE Back to School Coloring Sheet that is a great activity as your child prepares for school but also makes a great keepsake to document this fleeting stage in their lives. 

One of the things I love to create with the coloring sheets and products that I design is PERSONALIZATION! I love it so much, that I even wrote this blog post about personalizing things. My obsession dates back to when I was a kid in the '80s. 

What's especially cool about this Back to School Coloring Sheet is that you can type your child's name and first day of school information directly on the PDF file before you click print. You can print one off for each of your kids, year after year! Just open the file in Adobe Reader and it will be ready to type over the current text (I recommend using Adobe Reader--it's free to download Adobe Reader here if you don't already have it on your computer). 

Not only a great keepsake, coloring this sheet with your child can be a great way to spend some time with them and talk about the new school year and transitions ahead.
